DENVER - Could the mystery be solved? Was it even a mystery? Those are the questions swirling around the bathrooms at Denver International Airport.

If you have ever used any of the restrooms at DIA, you might have noticed that distinct smell. No, not that smell, but the air freshener scent they use to keep things fresh.

But what is it? A user on the website Reddit claims to have the answer. The user posted a picture showing a description of the scent named “Black Bamboo” with the headline “DIA Airport Bathroom Scent.” The description of the scent claims to have a “warm-musk, amber” base note, in case you were interested.

Several users have commented on the post, saying they have searched in vain for years to find the exact air freshener that DIA uses.

DIA confirmed in a tweet that indeed the warm-musk, amber note of Black Bamboo is the fragrance it uses to cover the smell that travelers drop off.

A quick search of Amazon shows that you too can have your bathroom smelling like the ones at the airport. Neat!

One DIA mystery solved, several more to go.
