A study of what each state Googled more than any other provides some interesting insight into people's interests in different parts of the country.
Coloradans showed interest in scientific discoveries and major news events. People in other states also searched for news - particularly about Syria, refugees and terrorism. However, people in some states were more interested in celebrities (including Charlie Sheen, Lamar Odom and Caitlyn Jenner), sports, guns, ice cream, the Ashley Madison scandal and the whip dance.
The top three searches in Colorado were:
