UPDATE | Westminster police said a suspect in the case was located and taken into custody. Around 4:45 p.m., police were able to make contact with the male and female involved in this incident. The male, identified as Tony Villarreal Jr., 26, was taken into custody on a protection order violation. The female subject was not injured.

WESTMINSTER, Colo. – Police said they are investigating a possible kidnapping in Westminster after a female was heard yelling for help inside of an SUV at a gas station and then later seen trying to get out of the SUV.

Officers responded shortly before 8 a.m. to the report at the gas station in the 9100 block of 100th Avenue. A man was getting gas, and the female would be heard screaming before the SUV "immediately left the area," a police news release said.

Shortly after that, police received a second call, this time from the 11200 block of Simms Street, where a female was seen trying to get out of an SUV and screaming for help. Officers believe it was the same SUV seen at the gas station.

The black SUV was a newer model, police said, with four doors, dark-tinted windows and a temporary tag. The man was described as a younger white man with short dark hair. There was no description available of the female.

An additional photo of the SUV police are looking for in an investigation into a possible kidnapping.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Westminster police at 303-658-4360.
