WESTMINSTER, Colo. — This isn’t Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, but a similar concept.
To encourage volunteers to help with clean-up efforts at Westminster Hills Dog Park, the City of Westminster is giving away 40 “Golden Poo” sculptures.
The lucky 40 volunteers who submit the heaviest load wins. The event happens this Saturday at 8:30 a.m. The first 100 volunteers are eligible for the prize.
According to a release from the city, the all-glass dog poo sculptures have been highly sought after collectibles and are a spinoff of the city’s popular #StandleyMonster initiative, which was glass "rainbow poo" anonymously placed along Standley Lake and Westminster trails.
