LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. — Officials on Friday temporarily put a voluntary evacuation in place in western Larimer County as a three-acre wildfire burned in the Poudre Canyon, according to the sheriff's office.
Officials lifted the voluntary evacuation notice about 3:30 p.m., as crews had contained the fire, which was burning near the Mishawaka Amphitheatre. The fire had threatened two structures, but they were no longer in danger.
Crews had also shut down Highway 14 as they battled the fire, but the roadway was reopened.
