DENVER - Vintage computer geeks should take note of a treasure trove of old Apple Macintosh computers, preserved and now on the market for sale.
A Craigslist seller claims to have one of the largest collections of old Apple computers in the country and all are going up for sale this weekend in Denver.
The seller says hundreds of Macintosh computers from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s are available, including keyboards, monitors and peripherals.
The ad claims the vintage machines, depicted in photos stacked high on racks and along the walls, must be liquidated because the lease for the location ends at the end of the month.
The post says the sale will be this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. No address is given. Interested buyers will need to contact the seller through Craigslist for that information.
The post is getting attention from vintage computer collectors from around the country via online forums.
