Video appears to show person dragging dog on electric scooter

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Police in California are investigating a video that appears to show a person on an electric scooter dragging a dog.

According to a report from the ABC23 in Bakersfield, California, the station was made aware of pictures showing a person holding a dog with bloody paws over the weekend.


On Monday, a viewer contacted the station with surveillance video showing the incident that allegedly caused the dog’s injuries.

The video shows the person on the electric scooter eventually stop and pick the animal up. The extent of the dog’s injuries is unknown.

It’s not clear if the act was intentional. Police told the Bakersfield station that no arrests had been made
