Victim ID'd in Denver homicide; suspect still at large

DENVER — Authorities released Thursday the name of the victim in one of Denver’ s latest homicides as police search for the shooter.

The Denver Medical Examiner identified the victim as 45-year-old Gervais Spencer. The victim was shot several times inside his home in the 5500 block of Xanadu Street Monday night.

A motive or suspect description was not released. Denver Police tweeted an image of the victim to help in its search for the suspect.
