DENVER - The University of Denver received high marks in four categories in the Princeton Review’s AnnualCollageRankings Guide, the university announced Tuesday.
The college admission services company put DU 8th in the category “Most Popular Study Abroad Program.” The school also ranked 18th in “Best College Library,” and 19th for “Impact Schools.” This category recognizes colleges for their community-service opportunities.
DU’s location helped it compete, too. The university took 18th in “College City Gets High Marks.” Students surveyed liked the proximity of DU to downtown Denver, but still appreciated the school’s “campus feel.”
The rankings are based on surveys completed by 143,000 students from 381 schools. The Princeton Review has published these rankings since 1992.
