DENVER – RTD A Line passengers going to or from Denver International Airport were delayed Friday morning.

RTD reported that a vehicle damaged the gates at the Dahilia Street crossing, which caused a disruption of service. Trains were delayed 10 to 15 minutes but resumed to normal operations after repairs were made around 8:30 a.m.

It's not known what led up to the crash or if the driver of the vehicle involved was cited.

The commuter rail line to the airport has been plagued with problems since opening last year. The line has been shut down or delayed in the past because of power issues and problems with several crossing arms along the route.
