DENVER — Denver Police are searching for the suspect or suspects who fatally shot one man and critically wounded another in LoDo Friday morning.

The shooting occurred shortly before 2 a.m. Friday at 14th Street and Market Street.

A witness told Denver7 reporter Eric Lupher that a bouncer at a club was the man who was fatally shot.

"We came down and started asking questions," said Dwan Bell, who witnessed the incident. "Nothing was being said. It was just pretty much get out of the way, get out of the way."

Another witness, who didn't want to be identified said the shootings in this area aren't surprising anymore.

"This block has gotten kind of bad and dangerous," she said. "I have people walk me home now. It's crazy."

This area has seen multiple shootings and stabbings in recent weeks.

Three people were wounded at 15th Street and Market Street on Sept. 16.

Four people were injured in a stabbing at 14th Street and Market Street outside the Lit Night Club on Thursday Aug. 23.

Police have not released a description of the suspect or suspects involved in this shooting.
