CASTLE ROCK, Colo. – Police said a juvenile male suspect was in custody following a shooting in Castle Rock that left two others injured.
Officers responded to the area of Ash Avenue, Rio Grande and Wilcox around 9 p.m. Monday after neighbors reported hearing gunshots and shouting. Police found two males with gunshot wounds near Rio Grande and Wilcox.
The two victims were transported to an area hospital. Updates on their conditions weren’t available Tuesday morning.
Police said they located the suspect around 2 a.m. and took him into custody. The suspect and victims knew each other, according to officers.
Police have not identified either the suspect or victims.
