Two pedestrians injured in hit-and-run crash in Denver

DENVER — Police in Denver are investigating a two-vehicle hit-and-run crash that involved two pedestrians Thursday.

Shortly before 7 p.m., the Denver Police Department tweeted that the crash happened along the 3000 block of S. Raleigh Street.

Both pedestrians were transported to a hospital with injuries. As of Thursday evening, one person was in critical condition. The other person did not have serious injuries, according to police.

The suspect driver who left the scene was in a new model of a white or silver pickup truck, police said.

S. Raleigh Street was temporarily closed at Cornell Avenue for an investigation.
