Trooper rushed to hospital after two-car crash near Boulder

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — First responders rushed a Colorado State Patrol Trooper to the emergency room after a two-car crash on Colorado roads on Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the Trooper was involved in a crash in the area of 119 and 63rd near Boulder just before 3 p.m. on Tuesday. 

Visuals from AIRTRACKER7 show severe back-end damage to the Trooper's cruiser, and front-end damage to a Toyota Prius. 

Officers haven't yet described the nature of the crash, however the Toyota is behind the Trooper's cruiser.
