Traffic, pollution, romance and more: Where Colorado and its cities rank on national lists

DENVER – It seems like every day there’s a new list ranking U.S. cities on some kind of characteristic, from traffic, health and education to pet-friendliness.

Some of these rankings are more serious than others and while some of them highlight positive characteristics of American communities, others focus on the negative.

Thankfully, Colorado and its cities are shown in a positive light more often than not. Here are some of the more recent rankings, grouped into “good” and “bad” categories, depending on how they portray the Centennial State:
