DENVER — When it comes to pizza, most people have a preferred style, and Denver doesn't disappoint with a wide variety from Detroit to Chicago to New York and more. 

We took a look at some of the top pizzerias in the city and we think your taste buds will be happy. Check out our list below. 

1. Brooklyn’s Finest Pizza
5007 Lowell Blvd.

As the name suggests, this is a New York-style pizzeria. Pizzas on the menu include the “Brooklyn Bomber,” “Grand Central,” “The Godfather” and “Times Square.”

2. Blue Pan Pizza
3930 W. 32nd Ave.

Blue Pan touts itself as “authentic Detroit-style pizza.” Don’t know what that is? The deep-dish pizzas are baked in a rectangular pan and have a caramelized crust.

Reviewers say: “The dough is perfect, (Not too thick like that Chicago crap), the sauce is both slightly acidic and sweet - blended perfectly and the pepperonis buckle up like they're supposed to and hold the grease!  This is a Damn good pie!” – Dunkin W.

3. Cart-Driver
2500 Larimer St.

Located in a trendy shipping-container building in the RiNo neighborhood, Cart-Driver serves up pizzas with ingredients like clams, kale, pancetta and ramps (but not all on the same pie).

Reviewers say: “The pizzas will blow your mind. The cheesy melty goodness comes in several varieties and none will disappoint. I personally love the DAISY. Being a big fan of margharita [sic] pizzas when made with fresh ingredients, this one impressed me with its perfect cheese to basil ratio and complete freshness.” – Kimberly I.

4. Brava! Pizzeria Della Strada
3200 Pecos St.

This pizza place is tucked inside the Avanti food hall in the Highland area. Brava! aims for traditional Neapolitan-style pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven.

Reviewers say: “Love, love, love this place!  I am picky about pizza, and Brava hits it out of the park.  True understanding of a Magherita pizza and the staff is great with requests.” – Dana V.

5. Hops & Pie

Beer and pizza…what more do you need? With the Hops & Pie Beer Club, you pay $60 a year to enjoy happy hour any day, any time.

Reviewers say: “This is hands down my favorite pizza restaurant in Denver. The pizza is amazing and they always have a unique slice of the day. They also have an IPA mac and cheese that is seriously the best mac and cheese I have ever had.” – Jonathan G.

6. Ian’s Pizza
2210 Blake St.

Ian’s started in Madison, Wisconsin, offering late-night pizza by the slice. At the Denver location, you’ll find a long list of classics, specialty pizzas and a build-your-own option.

Reviewers say: “Pizza is amazing- sober or buzzing. I love the Mac and cheese pizza. There's usually a line but it moves quick and staff is professional. Even at 2:30 in the morning the pizza is fresh!” – Chelsea P.

7. Racca’s Pizzeria Napoletana
2129 Larimer St.

Racca’s offers a selection of Neapolitan-style pizzas and other Italian food, plus specialties like limoncello chicken wings.

Reviewers say: “The limoncello wings are an absolute must have. As for the pizzas, I have yet to meet one I don't enjoy. The Lombardia is my absolute favorite. Creamy ricotta cheese and meatballs....need I say more?” – Jess M.

8. Sliceworks
1433 17th St., 700 E. Colfax

Sliceworks has two locations in Denver: One in LoDo and another on E. Colfax. They offer four different pizza styles: Neapolitan, Sicilian, Grandma (Brooklyn-style square pizza) and gluten-free.

Reviewers say: “Hot NY style thin crust pizza, self serve, quick and friendly service at the counter, very affordable prices($3 a slice of cheese pizza), open till 2:30AM on Fridays and Saturdays.” – Saravanan R.

9. Basic Kneads Pizza

10. iPIE
5807 W. 38th Ave.

iPIE (or Infinitus PIE) is about more than just pizza. One day a month, they give back to the community by donating 31.4 percent (Get it? Pi?) of their proceeds to a given charity.

Reviewers say: “This is not tomatoes in a blender with a little salt, this is sauce with Italian seasonings and herbs in it and it's amazing. I love how it carmelizes over the crust and takes on a perfect zing. And don't even get me started on the ingredients. Always fresh!” – Felicia S.
