People around the world have been watching and waiting patiently for days as April the giraffe (supposedly) prepares to give birth at Animal Adventure Park in New York.

Any time now, they keep telling us, but still no baby giraffe to report.

If you’re getting a little restless and are looking for something else to sate your appetite for cute animals, fear not. The internet is replete with options for your viewing pleasure.

Try these live animal webcams while you wait for April’s baby to arrive:

1. Bergin University Puppy Cam

These puppies were born to a golden retriever mom and a black lab dad at Bergin University of Canine Studies.

2. Zoo Atlanta Panda Cam

Who doesn’t love pandas? Zoo Atlanta live streams its pandas online.

3. Smithsonian Elephant Cam

You can watch the six Asian elephants at the Smithsonian National Zoo 24 hours a day.

4. San Diego Zoo Ape Cam

Watch the orangutans and other apes at the world-famous San Diego Zoo.

5. British Columbia Orca Cam

If you’re in the mood for something a little more wild (and unpredictable), spend a few minutes watching for orcas on the live camera at OrcaLab HQ in British Columbia.

But let’s be honest – you can’t wait to find out when April gives birth. You can watch that live stream any time here.
