DENVER – The 80s were a simpler time in Colorado, when our only concerns were Soviet spies, overexposure to X-rays and the occult influencing our children -- oh, and cocaine!
Those were just some of the subjects KMGH reported on we discovered after rummaging through a closet full of old newspaper promotional ads.
Like all stations at the time, KMGH used the ads to promote an upcoming story or special. They were produced in the pre-Photoshop days and published in the Denver Post and the Rocky Mountain News.
We gathered up some the best from our archive and made a gallery. So take a trip down memory lane, you might even recognize some of the names that are still working in Denver today.
