DENVER – We don’t have to tell you that Colorado is a great place to live, but three Colorado cities have just been recognized as some of the best places in the country.

Centennial, Arvada and Highlands Ranch all landed in the top 5 on 24/7 Wall St.’s list of the ’50 Best Cities to Live.’

Centennial was the highest-ranked at number two, followed by Arvada in the third place slot and Highlands Ranch at number five.

24/7 Wall St. looked at a number of different factors in its analysis, including job market, poverty rates, crime rates, education and health, among a slew of others. Highlands Ranch got especially high marks for its low rate of hospitalizations and Arvada and Centennial both were recognized as having low crime and poverty rates.

The title of “most livable” city goes to the Indianapolis suburb of Carmel, Indiana. According to 24/7 Wall St., 70 percent of Carmel residents have bachelor degrees and the typical household makes more than $100,000 a year.
