A Boulder County Sheriff's Office Sergeant stepped in to help an elderly resident on this snowy Tuesday, but he wasn't alone.
Boulder County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Nick Goldberger was driving by in Lyons when Diane, a Denver7 viewer, was out talking to a neighbor.
First, he stopped by to say 'hello' and then, "he asked if I needed to get out and I told him my age and that I would feel safer if I knew I could get [my car] out," she said.
Diane is 78-years-old.
"He never hesitated... hopped out and began to shovel," she said, adding, "I was amazed to see him say, 'sure, I will help.'"
Diane tells us she looked out the window after a short time and saw that a volunteer fireman was also helping to clear the snow from her driveway.
