PARKER, Colo. – A video of a 2-year-old Rockies superfan from Parker is melting the internet's heart. And now he's in for a big surprise!
The video, captured by the toddler's dad, shows little Tommy Carlson screaming with pure joy "he's here!!" when he saw center fielder Charlie Blackmon getting announced for the All-Star game last week.

Grandma posted the video to social media, and it took off from there. The Rockies tweeted it out when Blackmon hit a homer, and used it on the game broadcast when he came to bat.
Tommy’s dad, Tom Carlson, said the little guy loves baseball and knows all of the Rockies players. He has some ideas as to why the adorable tot loves Blackmon so much.
“He's a huge Nolan fan, DJ fan, but Charlie -- it's just gotta be the beard, and the song, and the leadoff, and that character that is Charlie,” said Tom.
The internet may be in store for another cute attack when Tommy meets Blackmon for real. The team will surprise Tommy Friday before the Pirates-Rockies game.
