First his car was stolen. Then, a few days later, two men used the keys to get into his house.

Denver Police say the men entered the house on South Depew Street just before 5 a.m. That is near West Yale Avenue and South Sheridan Boulevard.

Police said the resident's black Yukon was stolen while it was left idling in front of the home on Friday, Jan. 22.

The homeowner confronted the intruders and was able to detain one of the men, who was not armed, police said.

The second suspect took off on foot. It's not clear if the suspect who ran is armed.
