BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — Jury deliberations are expected to start Friday in the trial of a University of Colorado student charged with fatally stabbing another student outside a Boulder bar.
The Daily Camera reports testimony concluded Thursday in the trial of 23-year-old Ian Scheuermann.
He's charged with second-degree murder in the Dec. 12 stabbing death of 26-year-old Sean Hudson of Greenfield, Indiana. He also faces a felony menacing charge for allegedly threatening another man.
Closing statements are scheduled for Friday morning, followed by jury deliberations.
Authorities say Scheuermann got into an argument with Hudson and two other men. A fight broke out, and prosecutors say Scheuermann stabbed Hudson while the two were on the ground.
Scheuermann didn't testify.
