COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Police arrested two teens accused of hitting and kicking a sleeping homeless man.
Raphael Woodbridge, 18, and an unidentified juvenile boy were booked on second-degree assault charges early Thursday morning.
Police say a homeless man and woman were sleeping near a closed business in the 1300 block of North Academy Boulevard when they were approached by the two teens.
According to a police report, the two suspects began to assault the male victim by hitting and kicking him several times in the head and upper body.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and treated for serious injuries. The woman was not injured.
Police found the suspects nearby and were positively identified by the victims.
