BRIGHTON, Colo. – An 18-year-old man was struck by a car in Brighton on Friday, and the driver is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, police said.
The victim was walking across North 11th Avenue, between Walnut and Strong streets, when he was struck about 10:15 a.m.
He was taken to a hospital and his condition was unknown later Friday.
The driver, Adryan Chinn, 30, was arrested and booked into the Adams County Jail on several charges: driving under the influence of drugs, vehicular assault, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and no proof of insurance.
