DENVER – A teen facing attempted murder charges for an alleged bloody attack on three people in Denver is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.

Emmaunel Leon, 19, is charged with two counts of criminal attempt to commit murder in the first degree, two counts of assault in the first degree, and one count of assault in the third degree for the March 20th incident.

Prosecutors allege Leon assaulted three people over the course of about 30 minutes in a parking lot near 1423 S. Federal Boulevard.

The police report indicates that at least one of the victims was asleep when he was awakened by kicks to his head. He managed to flag down a Denver Police officer, who found a second unconscious victim along with several pools of blood. A third victim was subsequently identified.

Prosecutors have not released a motive for the attacks.
