Sworn to secrecy: DIA offers secret tour in 'Conspiracy' promotion

Posted

DENVER -- Ever wanted to take a tour of the behind the scenes secrets at the Denver International Airport? Two people will soon get that chance, if they swear to secrecy.

As part of a new 'Conspiracy' promotion, the Denver International Airport, which is the 19th busiest in the world and the sixth busiest in the U.S., is holding free art tours, a free film screening and a contest for a behind the scenes tour.

Hosted throughout October -- a month known for spooky themes -- the Denver International Airport's art program will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays through Oct. 29.

The free film screening, which will show Close Encounters of the Third Kind on the airport's open-air plaza, will be held on Oct. 20 at 5 p.m.

Perhaps the most coveted portion of the promotion, however, is the secret tour behind the walls most visitors get to see at the Denver International Airport.

One person will be selected, and will get to take a friend or family member along. They'll get to sniff out a conspiracy by going behind the walls and going underground.

A catch -- participants must pass a criminal background check and take an "oath of eternal secrecy."
