Switzerland-based airline launches non-stop service from Denver to Zurich

DENVER – Travelers are now able to take direct flights between Denver and Zurich, Switzerland.

Switzerland-based airline Edelweiss is offering twice-weekly, seasonal flights between the two cities from June through October.

The flights will give Colorado residents a new direct route to Europe and also will bring thousands of Swiss travelers – and their wallets – to the Centennial State.

An average of about 50 people per day currently travel between Denver and Zurich, with a total of about 30,000 people traveling between the two cities every year.
