Fort Collins Police say their department's SWAT team negotiation with an armed woman has ended peacefully.
Police say the woman was involved in a hit-and-run in the Kmart parking lot, near South College Avenue and East Drake Road, at 10:15 a.m. Monday.
The Fort Collins Police Department identified her as Pauline Amaniera, 33. When officers tried to approach Amaniera in her white Nissan Titan, officers say the woman was pointing a gun to her head.
Police think the woman may have intentionally hit several other vehicles in the parking lot. No one was hurt in those collisions.
The Kmart was on lockdown and neighboring businesses were evacuated.
Nearby roads were also closed during the standoff.
