District Attorney Pete Weir said the crash killed 73-year-old Margaret Braun and injured three others on Feb. 22.

That day at 11:30 p.m., Golden police were called to the intersection of Highway 93 and Golden Gate Canyon Road for a traffic crash. Lenox was driving a Ford Expedition alone north in the southbound lanes of Highway 93 when the car allegedly swerved across the double yellow line and collided with a Hyundai Santa Fe, which was traveling southbound. Braun had fatal injuries from the collision and the other three passengers in the Hyundai were seriously injured.

According to an arrest affidavit, the Ford did not have headlights on.

He is being held on a $100,000 bond at the Jefferson County jail. His preliminary hearing is set for March 26.
