AURORA, Colo. – A suspected drunk driver was arrested following a fatal motorcycle crash in Aurora Friday.
Lisa Sierra, 51, was booked after receiving medical care at a local hospital and charged with vehicular homicide, careless driving causing death, and DUI.
The crash occurred around 8:20 p.m. at the intersection East Hampden Avenue and South Tower Road.
Police say Sierra, driving a Chevrolet Camaro, was traveling eastbound on East Hampden Avenue, made a left turn onto northbound South Tower Road into the path of the motorcycle, causing a collision.
The driver of the motorcycle, an adult male, was pronounced deceased on scene.
The identity of the deceased male will be released by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office after positive identification and notification of the family.
