Two Jefferson County deputies were injured after two suspects hit and rammed them with two different stolen vehicles during a short chase late Saturday night.
It all began when deputies responded to a tip of cars being broken into in the area of West Belleview Avenue and South Kipling Street. Once at the scene, deputies spotted a suspect in a Jeep Wrangler, but lost sight of the vehicle a short time later.

About an hour later, at around 11:50 p.m., two deputies found the Jeep and an unreported stolen Volkswagen out of Jefferson County in the area of West Remington Avenue and South Kipling Parkway, according to a deputy with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
The deputies chased the vehicles to a gated community, and as the driver of the Jeep tried to leave the area, the driver of the Volkswagen rear ended one of the patrols cars, the Sheriff's office said in a statement. As the deputies fought to apprehend the driver of the Volkswagen, the driver of the Jeep came back and struck one of the deputies. That deputy was treated for minor injuries, according to a deputy with the Sheriff's office.
