DENVER – A state known for its active lifestyle has just unlocked another achievement that some may say doesn’t quite fit that image.

According to new data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 13.4 percent of Coloradans play video games and board games on a daily basis. That is the highest percentage in the nation.

The same study found the amount of time Coloradans and other Americans spend playing those games has increased in the past 14 years. Gamers now spend at least 15 minutes a day chasing that pixelated high.

The data comes from the American Time Use Survey, which measures the amount of time people spend doing various activities.
