CASTLE ROCK – Super Saturday brought out droves of shoppers to the Outlets at Castle Rock for some last-minute shopping.

Super Saturday marks of the busiest shopping days of the year. A spokesperson with the mall says stores break out their best sales, some comparable to Black Friday. She says 100,000 shoppers are expected to visit the outlets between Saturday and Sunday.

Penny Emrick’s Christmas spirit radiated, she wore an elf sweater, a Santa hat, and a Christmas bulb necklace. She says it’s become a tradition for her family to meet at the outlet mall and knock out anyone left on their Christmas list.

“I have to get some great-grandma stuff,” Emrick said.

Shane Deichman says the deals are a steal.

“I mean this 50% off, plus the 30% off in the store – I mean this is incredible,” Deichman said.

The mall is extending their hours for the holidays and will be open on Christmas Eve.
