BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. — Summit County rescue personnel recovered a body from a river in Breckenridge on Monday afternoon.
On Monday around 1:50 p.m., officials with the Summit County Sheriff’s Office and Breckenridge Police Department responded to a report of a body found in the Blue River. According to the sheriff's office, the reporting party had seen the body in the river just north of Coyne Valley Road in Breckenridge.
The Summit County Water Rescue Group responded to recover the deceased male.
The county coroner's office will release his identity after notifying next of kin.
