DENVER – A driver was killed when their car crashed into a pole in north Denver Tuesday morning.
The Colorado State Patrol said the crash occurred at the intersection of 64th Avenue and Washington Street around 6 a.m.
Troopers said the driver was the only person in the car at the time. The driver died at the scene.

Troopers closed Washington Street between 64th and 66th avenues while they investigated the crash.
