ELBERT and APARAHOE COUNTIES, Colo. -- Five people were killed in a rollover crash after the driver lost control of the vehicle early Sunday morning, a CSP official said.
Authorities were notified of the crash around 5:41 a.m. according to Colorado State Patrol Trooper Alisha Danko.
The small sedan rolled on East County Line Road at Monarch Circle, east of Delbert Road. The sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed when it rolled and caught fire after coming to rest, Danko said.
The road reopened at around 1 p.m.
