DENVER – A Southwest Airlines flight from Denver to Dallas was greeted by paramedics upon landing Saturday night after experiencing pressurization issues during the flight, the airline said Monday.
The crew of Flight 861 radioed ahead when the cabin experienced the pressurization issues as it approached Dallas Love Field around 9 p.m. local time Saturday, the Dallas Morning News reports.
A Southwest Airlines spokesperson told Denver7 the planes landing was “uneventful” and that four of the 120 passengers asked paramedics to check them out for ear pain.
“All of the customers were ending their journey with us in Dallas, as was the aircraft, which underwent a maintenance review,” Southwest said.
The airline was also involved in another depressurization issue last month, when an engine blew and debris struck a window, killing one of the passengers. It also had to cancel more than 60 flights in Denver Monday after hail damaged some of the aircraft.
