South Carolina airport to add flights to Denver this summer

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — A South Carolina airport is adding nonstop flights to Denver.

The Greenville News reports that Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport will begin the flights this summer.

Airport officials announced that the daily flights to Denver International Airport will start in early June.

United Airlines will operate the flights. The route is United's fifth nonstop destination from Greenville to other cities.

The announcement of the Denver flights comes two months after Greenville area airport started daily flights to Miami.
