There are multiple crashes south of the Denver metro area this morning.
In Douglas County, there are crashes on northbound I-25 at Tomah Road and southbound I-25 near Happy Canyon, according to Denver7 traffic reporter Jayson Luber.

The Colorado State Patrol and Douglas County Sheriff's Office is dealing with a crash on southbound I-25 at mile marker 165. That's near the Palmer Divide.

Roads are icy and snowpacked south of the metro area.

Conditions are worsening on Interstate 70 to the west of the metro area. The traction law was put in place on I-70 in both directions between Silverthorne and the Eisenhower Tunnel at 3 a.m.
At 5 a.m., the traction law was put in place just outside Denver.
