1. Expect icy, slick roads for your Friday morning commute
An over-performing snow storm dropped some much needed moisture in the Denver metro area overnight, making for slick roads and sidewalks this morning. A First Alert Action Day is in effect until 9 a.m.

2. Swedish skier wins slalom; Colorado's Shiffrin finishes fourth
Colorado's Mikaela Shiffrin wound up fourth after medaling a day earlier in the giant slalom. She still have several events scheduled for the Winter Olympics. 

3. President Trump's budget undercuts his call for focus on mental health after shooting
The budget proposal issued Monday would make major cuts to Medicaid, which is a main source of funding for mental health care.

4. 'DREAMERs' remains in limbo after Senate rejects proposals
The Senate voted down both a bipartisan deal and a White House proposal that would have spared those brought to US illegally as children from deportation and increased border spending.
