LOUISVILLE, Colo. (AP) — Police responding to a suspected drug incident in Louisville ended up firing shots during an altercation with the suspect.
Louisville Police said officers responded to a possible narcotics violation at shopping center at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday, got into an altercation with a suspect and shots were fired.
The officers were not injured and the suspect was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police did not say if the suspect was armed or release the extent of the person's injuries.
The shooting is the town southeast of Boulder is still under investigation.
