NORTHGLENN, Colo. – Police are investigating after shots rang out in a Northglenn neighborhood early Thursday morning.
Police say at least one bullet entered into a child’s room inside the house in the 700 block of Ura Lane. No one was injured.
The mother told Denver7 that the bullet missed her sleeping 4-year-old daughter by only five feet. The bullet shattered a light fixture, but didn't wake up the girl.
The mother said she was reading when the bullet struck her home.
Police got the call around 1:20 a.m.
Investigators have not released any more details in the case. There is no suspect information at this time.
