COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A former prisoner within the Colorado Department of Corrections is being released into the greater community and officials are making the state aware due to Myron David Swayzer's status as a sexually violent predator.
The status of sexually violent predator is one bestowed upon Swayzer by a court in 2000 after offenses in El Paso County. On his parole, he'll be living in the Colorado Springs community.
According to police, the public should know Swayzer is set to reside at 822 Red Thistle View, Colorado Springs, CO 80916.
He's one of 15 sexually violent predators registered within the Colorado Springs Police Department's purview.
