AURORA, Colo. — The city of Aurora is sleeping a little easier following the arrest of a man suspected in two sex assaults in an apartment complex.
Officers say 25-year-old Richardo Corral-Venegas attempted to force his way into an apartment on South Geneva Way on Oct. 4. The woman was able to fight the man off, preventing him from getting into her apartment.
Police say Corral-Venegas forced his way into another apartment at the same location and sexually assaulted a woman. Investigators believe there could be the possibility of other victims who were assaulted by Corral-Venegas.
Corral-Venegas was booked into the Arapahoe County Jail on several charges.
