DENVER – A semi-tractor trailer caught fire on Interstate 25 near the Alameda exit early Thursday morning, snarling traffic in the area.
Firefighters fought back flames shooting from the trailer parked on the side of the interstate. The fire was quickly doused and crews began the process of moving the semi.
Southbound I-25 was shut down while the fire was raging, but later reopened.
It’s not known how the fire started.
