DENVER -- Denver Police, the Adams County Sheriff's Office and the Colorado State Patrol are searching for a barefoot driver who ran off after leading police on a chase early Friday morning.
Denver Police said the incident started when an officer spotted a vehicle driving on a blown tire, They said the wheel was throwing out sparks.
The driver didn't stop and people in the car fired shots at officers during a police pursuit, officers said.
The driver crashed and rolled at 50th Avenue and Washington Street.

Police said a passenger in the vehicle was seriously injured, but the driver ran off.
The driver is described as a black man, about 6' foot in a hooded-sweatshirt and jeans who is barefoot.
