LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. -- The body of a missing rafter who fell into the Poudre River early Friday evening was found Saturday afternoon, officials said.
The rafter, who has only been identified as a 33-year-old Loveland man, fell between Stove Prairie Road and Kelly Flats near mile marker 104 on Highway 14 while trying to pull a raft from the water, according to an deputy with the Larimer County Sheriff's Office.
His body was found in the Poudre River at 12:30 p.m. near Upper Landing just under one mile down river from where he was last seen.
