EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. — Crews were searching for Gannon Stauch in an area of northern El Paso County on Saturday, officials said.

Crews were searching in an area near Highway 105 and Highway 83, according to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, east of Monument. More information about the case has not been released.

Crews have searched in the same general area of northern El Paso County and southern Douglas County, but few details about the searches have been released.

Stauch, 11, has been missing more than a month. He was last seen Jan. 27. Surveillance footage from a neighbor showed Stauch and his stepmother, Leticia Stauch, get into a red truck in the driveway of their home on the southeast side of Colorado Springs. The video also showed the truck returning hours later but with only the stepmother appearing to get out.

Leticia Stauch reported the boy missing just before 7 p.m. on Jan. 27, and told police at the time that she had last seen him between 3:15 and 4 p.m. that day, when he left to play at a friend’s house down the street.

The neighbor, Rodderick Drayton, said the surveillance video shows what he says is Gannon and his stepmother getting into the truck at 10:13 a.m. that day and Leticia returning, apparently alone, at 2:19 p.m.
