LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. — Authorities in Larimer County are continuing the search for a 16-year-old who has been missing since late October.
Katelyn Miller, 16, left her home near Highway 392 and County Road 5 in Windsor around 2 p.m. on Oct. 30 and hasn't contacted family or friends, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.
She was last seen wearing a turquoise hooded sweatshirt with rainbow colored lettering and a dark colored backpack. At the time, she was riding a woodgrain longboard.
Miller is 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs abut 125 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
David Moore with the Larimer County Sheriff's Office said the FBI is involved in this case. The CBI’s Susan Medina said Tuesday afternoon that she did not believe the agency had been asked to assist in the investigation by Larimer County.
“I spoke with my team, and it doesn't appear there was a request from Larimer County for our assistance at this time,” Medina said. “I will check with our analysts; however, I don't believe we are involved.”
Moore said they have not learned anything in the investigation that would lead them to believe she is endangered. They still have no information indicating foul play as of Dec. 7, he said.
